Audio-Technica ATH-M30X On Ear Stereo Headphone (Black)

This is a really superb headphone.
Let me start off with the delivery, it arrived on time, was in a bigger package than what I had in mind. The package was a little damaged, though not a lot. The unpacking experience was quite good. Everything was neatly packed and covered. The carry pouch looks like it'll hold for quite a long time. The headphones look fabulous... They could be folded up easily. The 3.5 mm jack was hidden under the bigger one. The cable is really long, too long for travel purposes, so I recommend you tie it up. The earcups cover your ears perfectly and smoothly. Felt very good. I usually get hot ears very fast, but using these, it took longer for my ears to heat up, and it wasn't too hot... The noise isolation is really good. You couldn't hear your own voice at high volumes. Don't use high volumes for long intervals though. With that said, the quality of sound was just pure. The lows, the mids, the highs, everything was so crisp. I heard instruments that I've never heard in songs that I've played thousands of times before. A true professional look and feel to it. It is made out of plastic, but quality is top notch. Certainly something I'd suggest you to buy if you have the money. I of course got it at the discounted rate. It's like the best headphone at this price range. The surround sound effects are heavenly! I don't enjoy too much bass, so this was perfect for me as everything was equally balanced. I bought this to use for mixing & monitoring purposes. Really happy with the sound clarity it provides. It gets easily powered up even with the normal Aux Ports on my iMac and MacBook but using it with Audio Interface increases the quality.
The only thing that should be improved is the comfort. After using it for an hour or so it gets a bit uncomfortable but nothing major. The quality and price is justified.
Also, one important thing that I was confused by reading many reviews is the presence of bass. I would say, the bass frequencies are optimally present and really enjoyable. However, if you love boosted bass, you can probably go for other brands. These are meant to provide flat response and it does that beautifully.
A definite buy if you are looking for a headphone to monitor and mix and also enjoy your music as it was originally designed to sound like.Thanks to Bajaj EMI store

I had bought M20X earlier and had been using it for more than a year until my dog chewed up the wire. Which gave me the perfect opportunity to upgrade to M30X. The foldability of these headphones is very convenient.Right choice

3. Comfortable (for people going to use over ear headphone for 1st time, it will take some time to get comfortable with)
4. Premium built quality.
5. Inclusion of carrying pouch(though hard case would have been better, yet at least we get something)
6. Inclusion of 1/4" converter jack(for audio interface, amplifiers, etc)
7. Very long cable(which can be pro as well as con)
8. Flat sound( best for video/audi editing, mixing and monitoring)

2. No detachable cable

These are the finest headphones I have ever used. I'm a video editor and animator and I use these headphones to monitor audio on my videos and watch random stuff in my downtime. They've never let me down. They deliver balanced audio and need no external amplification. Sound engineers and editors should opt for the m50s though if you have the budget. If you don't though (like I didn't) these will serve you well.

If you are looking for bass boosted audio to be used with your phone, these aren't the headphones for you.
